Due to the popularity of our breakfast club provision, we are looking to recruit a highly committed and passionate person to join our team.
Our Wraparound Care provision is one of the essential services we offer our parent community based at Wood Lane Primary School. Apedale Road. ST7 8PH
We are looking for a candidate with experience of working with children, who hold a Level 3 qualification in childcare. First Aid and Basic Hygiene certificates would be desirable.
An enhanced DBS check will also be a requirement.
This is term time only position starting in January, on a self-employment basis. Hourly pay rate to be discussed.
The role could suit those who have other jobs and want to earn extra money or even students that have mornings free and need a part time job.
About you:
The successful candidate will be someone who can:
Engage effectively with the children in their care.
Greet parents and children in a welcoming manner.
Plan, set up and engage in recreational activities and the provision of healthy food.
Ensure children are safe and happy.
Play and interact with the children.
Clear away snacks and activities leaving a tidy environment.
Demonstrate a positive attitude, be flexible and model good communication skills.
Display high expectations of pupil behaviour.
Work well as part of a team.
Good time keeping is also essential.

Hours of work:
Monday - Friday 7:30am - 9:00am, term time only (38 weeks per year)
